On-campus Medical & Dental Services

The on-campus Medical Clinic, currently run by Health Concepts (one of the University's network doctors), offers medical services including out-patient consultation, simple surgery, simple dressing, dispensary and first aid. Specialist services are provided at specific hours and by appointment.
The on-campus Medical Clinic is located at LG1 (take lift no. 4 next to the Bank of East Asia). Appointments can be made at 2358-6670. The opening hours are as follows:
- Monday - Friday : 0900 - 1645 (lunch : 1230 - 1330)
- Saturday: 0900 - 1145
- Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Staff members and their dependent family members who are entitled to the medical benefits provided by the University may use the on-campus Medical Clinic by bringing along their medical card. A co-payment of HK$15 per visit is required for out-patient consultation (including up to 5 days' regular medication).
Charges for specialist services should be paid in full at the clinic by the user first, and a 90% reimbursement up to the limit specified in the Schedule of Benefits to the Booklet on the Staff Medical Insurance Scheme could be claimed afterwards.

The on-campus Staff Dental Clinic is currently run by Bayley & Jackson Dental Surgeons Ltd. (Bayley & Jackson).
It is located at LG1 (take lift no. 4 next to the Bank of East Asia). Appointments for consultation should be made in advance by calling 2358-8747 or in person. The opening hours are as follows:
- Monday - Saturday except Thursday: 0900 - 1700 (lunch : 1230 - 1330)
- Thursday: 0900 - 1230
- Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed
Eligible staff members and their dependent family members can enjoy free primary dental services (e.g. oral examination, scaling and polishing of teeth, simple extract of teeth, etc.) provided under the Staff Dental Scheme.
Secondary dental treatments are available at discounted rates, but such treatment is not part of the Staff Dental Scheme and is to be provided at staff members' own cost.
